In our Gaian Co-op Villages, there are no employees.
Every member is an equal owner, sharing both the responsibilities and benefits of the community. Our businesses provide a variety of opportunities.
There are two ways to join our coop.
Villagers - individuals who manage a village-owned shop or project
Tradesmen - individuals who own and manage a shop or project.
To become a Villager or Tradesman, you must agree to
Participate in monthly meetings for at least 3 hours to assist with community projects for LOL (labor of love).
Ensure shops are open every weekend.
Organize and host workshops periodically.
Accept an apprentice if available.
Artisans receive up to 2/3 of shop proceeds when they assist us in producing high-quality sustainable-free products. Raw materials will be sourced from our EcoJunk or our forest farm.
Village hours for the public are as follows:-
Fridays by appointment only, from 12 noon till sunset
Saturdays
Mornings - Earth-Gardens and critters meetup,
Afternoons - Water-Village meetup
Sundays:
Morning - Gaian Living Fellowship,
Afternoons - EcoJunk meetup
Some of our Villages are Multi-use Zoned and can accommodate residential/tradeshop lots. Members have the opportunity to live on-site. You must be 18 years of age or older.
